An attractive set of six 19th century antique oak farmhouse chairs. The antique farmhouse chairs all have decorative bar backrests, with solid oak seats. Raised on square shaped legs, united by straight stretcher supports. A rather pleasing set of 19th century dining chairs, with lovely colour and grain throughout. In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches and marks to the seat and backrest (pictured). Also, staining to some of the chairs' sides. On one of the chairs, there is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak farmhouse chairs are structurally sound with good tight joints. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. Overall, a good set of kitchen chairs.
