Description
Scottish themed sterling silver Sgian Dubh brooch, with a basket hilt and what looks like a blade trapper (unusual). Red and green agates as the blade, jasper and bloodstone, with a faceted red paste stone encased within the basket hilt.
Stamped to the reverse with "sterling silver" almost certainly made by Ward Bros. in Glasgow, and period would be, almost certainly, 1940s/1950s. 2 inch log and around half inch wide. Partially cleaned but not polished and all is good.
