Shapland & Petter Arts & Crafts Display Cabinet

Excellent Arts & Crafts period display cabinet by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple of excellent construction in solid mahogany and attractive mahogany "plum pudding" veneers. The central glazed section with a single opening bow fronted glass door. Fitted with a charming silvered lock plate and opening to access a shelved interior lined in its original fabric. The door is lockable (key supplied) and the lock is stamped "S P & B". The glazed section is flanked by turned columns. Beneath is a central recess flanked but rows of turned balustrades. To the top of the cabinet is an up-stand decorated with stylish inlaid floral panels redolent of the period. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops this stunning cabinet is offered for sale in excellent original condition.
