Description
This is a stunning and rare ships telegraph that we sourced from a private collection in British Columbia
British ‘Chadburns’ pattern, made under license by Montreal makers Taylor & Arnold when the ship was built in 1958
Notice the unusual brass orders plate, a design commonly used by the Canadian and Us Navy,
It is an evolution from the ceramic and glass orders of the time that were found to crack or even shatter when the big guns were fired
HMCS Restigouche was the lead ship of the Restigouche class destroyers that served in the Royal Canadian Navy and later the Canadian Forces
