Absolutely massive antique solid hallmarked silver and leather bound glass hip flask with removable cup also in solid silver. Rare and unusual large size, holds 1 1/4 pints and was more than likely a shop display piece made on commission. I've included it shown next to a small palm size flask to give an idea of it's scale. Made by James Dixon & Sons and carries the Sheffield hallmark with the date letter for 1922 on the cap and 1935 on the cup. Not unusual to find differing dates although the cup could have been replaced. Pictures show the hallmarks to both. The top of the cap as well as the sides of the cup have an engraved patter. Another possible hint at shop display as this is unusual but shows what's possible. It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap and removable cup, which fits snuggle with the flask body. The flask has been cleaned and the cork replaced so that it's as hygienic as possible. Will be sent in a free gift box. We are happy to answer any questions.
