Description
This is a vintage silver Clan Davidson Clan badge, made by Thomas Ebbutt and assayed and hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1960, with rollover safety catch. Small size, just over and inch across, suitable for the lighter fabrics or lapel. Central antlered stag facing left with surrounding tailed garter and motto "sapienter si sincere", wisely if sincerely. Not the best casting, the mold must have been badly worn but it is all there and solid enough.
