A lovely pre WWI silver dance card purse wallet with pencil and original leather liner containing a bone dance card or aide memoire, stamp and card sleeves. It has its original calf skin interior in good condition. The purse has been attractively engine turned with fine design and is fitted with a chain to put over your arm and also a finger loop. The clasp and hinge work like new. The dance card / aide memoire is written on but this can be wiped clean. Excellent hallmarks for Birmingham 1912 with the makers mark for Charles S Green & Co Ltd. There is a cartouche to the front of the purse inscribed with initials in script. Pencil unmarked.
