Silver Hole in One Golfing Trophy - Barnehurst Golf Club & Ball 1930

This unusual antique hole in one golf trophy which has three solid silver golf clubs which are fully hallmarked for London 1929 are surrounding a golf ball on a black wooden base. This interesting golfing trophy has a fully hallmarked plaque to the front that reads: Barnehurst Golf Club. 9th Hole (201 yards) in One. By DE Thomas. 29.3.30. A further plaque to the base reads With the compliments of the Silvertown Co. This handsome golfing trophy would make an unusual collector's piece for a golf enthusiast. Hallmarked: Lion for sterling silver. Leopard's head for London. Date letter o for 1929 and maker's mark G Co for Glossoid Co.
