Silver Photo Frame by E Mander & Sons

The silver is in great condition for something approaching its hundredth birthday, the glass is original and everything is ‘just so’ with the usual signs of a having led a purposeful life. Hardly surprising then that it was patented under #125339, as highlighted by the proud plate on the reverse. Of course, this could have been a salesman’s sample or ‘give away’ to potential stockists of E Mander & Sons frames. Irrespective it is amazing that it has survived and in such original form.
