This is a highly decorative stick or umbrella stand / or a combination of the two. Possibly designed by Sir Robert Lorimer. It is certainly a one off and has his "look". This has been purpose made , rather than commercial mass produced furniture. All of the above is my opinion only. Without documentary evidence then its being sold as "in the manner/style of Sir Robert Lorimer".
