A stylish and unusual small Anglo Indian dresser / sideboard dating from circa 1910. In a beautifully figured tropical hardwood, the top carved with Ganesh and attendants and stylised florals, above two open displays, and the lower part with two panelled doors and standing on shaped feet. The doors open to reveal storage with a removable shelf. The dresser dismantles into three sections. To the back of the piece are old paper labels, one from the shipping company White and Co ltd. A beautiful and unique piece that would be a statement in any room. Good condition. Nice patina to the wood. General wear and marks commensurate with age. An old mend to the bottom of the door. An old mend to the side of top pelmet. A few small splits to the panelled doors. Comes with a key but doesn’t lock.
