Description
This is an unusual set of solid sterling silver menu holders.
They were created as the crest of the Watson Clan and carry the Clan motto: Insperata Floruit (Flourishing Unexpectedly). The crest is two hands holding the trunk of an oak tree sprouting, the hands issuing out of clouds.
Each is clearly hallmarked on the reverse for London 1963 with the maker's mark of C F Hancock & Co.
The bases are weighted and covered with green baize. The menu holders are unusually tall and would make a striking addition to any table, whether the name was Watson or not!
Complimentary gift wrapping is available on request.
