Spectacular William IV Mahogany Antique Work Table
This Spectacular early 19th Century William IV Mahogany Antique Work Table / Workbox / Sewing Table / Pedestal Side Table / Lamp Table dates from ca. 1835. It has a beautifully figured top above a frieze drawer. This fine antique table stands on a hexagonal tapering base with material lined drawer originally for storing wool and sewing equipment. It stands on a shaped base with stunning Lion paw carved feet. The Mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
