Description
This charming Staffordshire figure group depicts a boy and girl seated in front of a tree with their faithful dog and two lambs. The tree is hollow to hold the spills which would look like branches when inserted. The figure is lavishly hand painted with cobalt blue and overglaze enamels.There is a painter's mark to the underside of the figure.

There is a small chip to the edge of the girl's hat and a lighter glazing chip to the rear of the dog's ear. The boy's nose has been retouched. Please inspect the photographs closely to assess the condition and quality of this handsome piece.
