Sterling Silver Fob Vintage 1951 Canada Bicentennial Pocket Watch Chain Fob

Vintage solid Sterling silver (stamped) 5 Cents 'coin' fob for a Gentleman's pocket watch chain commemorating the bicentennial of the first discovery/mining of nickel in Canada. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 2.5cm height (including the top ring), 1.7cm diameter and weighs 2.7 grams. Wonderful circular shaped fob which is adorned to the front in great detail with a slightly raised scene of an old nickel mine set upon a very ornate engine turned background. Clearly stamped (again in slightly raised script); Canada Nickel 1751 - 1951 5 Cents and has three ornate Canadian maple leaves to base. The back is smooth, free from any inscriptions or initials and is stamped to top; Ster (Sterling) and carries a makers mark which sadly I am unable to decipher. Robust bail and original silver top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear, just one tiny pinprick indentation to back and few light and fine overall little surface scratches commensurate with age.
