Sterling Silver Photograph Locket 1977 Vintage With Long Silver 925 Necklace

Highly impressive Vintage Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) very attractive large Art Nouveau inspired photograph locket with long silver (925) rollo link necklace. C~1977. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures -was extremely difficult to photograph). Necklace measures; 50cm / 19 1/2" length and the links are 3mm diameter. Photograph locket measures; 4.3cm length (including the bail), 3cm wide and 1cm depth. Total weight is a heavy 17.9 grams. Wonderful puffy Art Nouveau inspired photograph locket which is adorned to both sides with a very attractive leaf and scroll work decoration set upon an engine turned background which reflects the light beautifully. Hallmarked to the front (in different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the silver purity; 925, Leopards head (London assay) and fancy scrolled capital letter; C - dating to 1977. Also stamped inside one of the covers with the silver purity; STERLING 925. Opens up correctly (hinge is true and firm with no play), closing tightly with a very reassuring click. Inside are two circular shaped compartments to hold photographs of loved ones (the original silver mounts are amazingly still present) and both are lined with rich mauve felt (these can easily be removed if desired). Original wide floating leaf form swivel bail. Held securely on a fancy 'rollo' link necklace (again reflects the light beautifully) with original and very traditional bolt ring clasp (operates correctly) again stamped with the silver purity; 925. Beautifully made and in excellent clean bright condition with no absolutely no wear, just one or 2 very light little indentations to the silver mounts (none detract) and a few extremely light and fine little (absolutely micro) surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
