This is an exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver quaich style bowl; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection
This exceptional antique George V English sterling silver bowl has a plain circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot.
The body of this silver quaich bowl is plain and unembellished, apart from a band of applied moulded decoration to the rim.
This antique bowl is fitted with an exceptional quaich style handpiece ornamented with applied scrolling leaf and floral motifs, all on a matte background.
The terminal of the handle is embellished with further applied scrolling leaf designs accented with floral medallions and a bead decorated border.
The underside of this impressive collectable silver bowl bears the retailer's mark 'Reid & Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne'.
