An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver two-handled tray; an addition to our silver tray collection.
This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver tray has a rounded rectangular form with incurved corners.
The surface of this antique silver tray is plain and unembellished.
The raised rounded border of this antique tray is ornamented with a cast and applied gadroon decoration to the shaped rim.
This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with a pair of impressive cast silver handles, ornamented with a continuation of gadroon decoration with a leaf design to the terminals.
The underside of the tray bears the renowned Birmingham maker's/retailer's mark 'Elkington & co' and the registration number '19920'.
