This is a beautiful Kirman carpet from South East Iran which dates from around 1910. The carpet has the most delightful intricately woven allover floral design with arching branching blossoms very much in the Kirman tradition. There is a central indigo roundal issiung branching floral sprays and the carpet has cartouche borders. The colour palette is really stunning and eye catching with shades of pink, gold, blue and ivory all featuring. The carpet has complete ends and original selvedges. The pile is generally good overall with a some areas of wear to the carpet best seen in pics 9, 10 and 11. It is a good room size measuring 370 cms by 284 cms. UK delivery is £25
