Stunning Antique Oriental Chinese Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi Famille Rose Bowl

A large finely detailed hand-painted Rose Medallion Qing Dynasty bowl. Circa 1875-1908 this expertly crafted and hand-painted Chinese Guangxu punch bowl has hand-painted figural scenes within panels depicting domestic scenes of a Mandarin official’s family alternating with butterflies and rouge-pink flowers. The whole of the bowls surface exterior and interior is covered in hand-painted rose medallion coloured conventional borders, decoration and Mandarin family scenes. It’s a truly impressive large antique Chinese bowl. The centre of the interior bowl has a further scene depicting Chinese figures on a walkway. On the base of the bowl and iron-red is a Qing Guangxu six-character mark surrounded by two red concentric circles. The condition of this piece is very good given it age, critically speaking there is wear to the gilding around the lip and a small hair line fracture on one area of the bowl which is particularly difficult to notice.
