Stunning Chain Link or Mail Handbag c.1910

Stunning chain Link or mail handbag, c.1910. Pristine condition with its original silk lining. German, bears the mark UO&Co., Alpacca. Alpacca is a copper/nickel/zinc mix, polished to look like silver. The condition would suggest this smart bag has never been used, it still has its original silk lining with pretty little blue flowers, again pristine. The top of the bag measures 7 inches (18cm) wide. Useful size, will take an Iphone Pro, the snap closure is as crisp as the day it was made, no damage, dings or restoration.
