Stunning Pair of Victorian Walnut Antique Card Tables This Stunning 19th Century Pair of Victorian Walnut Antique Card Tables / Games Tables circa, 1860 are extremely rare being a pair. They each have a serpentine shaped top which is beautifully figured with mirrored grain and carved moulded edge. The top swivels open to double its size, revealing a concealed games compartment in the process and the playing surface is finished in green baize. These stunning antique card tables have a beautifully figured frieze supported by a central turned pedestal and four out-swept scrolled legs with the most spectacular carvings. The Walnut has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
