Description
A fine John & William Ridgway porcelain lozenge shaped dessert serving dish with ornate shaped and moulded rim with daisy flowers and leaves and pierced scrolled handles. The walls are enamelled with a deep green ground and a shaped central reserve is framed with gilt scrolls and feathery foliage. The centre is exceptionally well painted with a variety of garden flowers. The rim and moulded detail is picked out in gilt. Marked with the pattern number 1121 to the underside. c.1825.
