This is a fine and very attractive antique sterling silver teapot made by the Barnard family and hallmarked in London 1846. It is in very good condition with no repair or damage and has been professionally polished. Made with a heavy gauge of silver it is clearly hallmarked to the body, lid and handle. Scroll decorations to the body, lid and spout. The substantial handle has insulators and incorporates a thumbpiece. Altogether a beautiful Victorian silver circular teapot from this well respected family of silversmths.
