Superb Early 18th Century Royal Commemorative Pewter Charger - 1729 - Frederick Prince of Wales Investiture commemorative. A rare pewter charger dating from the early 18th Century, made, I think to commemorate the investiture of Frederick as the Prince of Wales in 1729, it has a roughly engraved coat of arms with 1729 beside. In all a really rare piece of antique Royal commemorative pewter! It measures 15" diameter. It has impressed touch-marks to the base (see photos).
