An extremely fine New Hall porcelain saucer dish produced in Staffordshire around 1815. Decorated with a rich, over all design of groups of superb quality, hand-painted summer flowers in bright enamel colours reserved within a dark blue ground which is overlaid with gilt scrolls and fronds. The base bears the hand-written pattern number, 2384, in red.
Roger Stretch Antiques has clarified that the Superb New Hall Saucer Dish c.1815 (LA222511) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1815
In excellent, original sound condition with no wear to the decoration. There is a tiny firing mark to the rim which occurred during manufacture.
