Superb Silver Victorian Soup Ladle

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver soup ladle which has been designed in the Fiddle and thread pattern style with a long well-balanced handle and a good sized oval shaped bowl. This silver soup ladle has been made to a high standard and would make a useful addition to a Fiddle pattern cutlery set as well as being perfect to use. It was assayed in London for 1882, made by Josiah Williams & Co, and with so much flatware now melted for scrap, a rare and desirable find.
