Really strong rosewood and solid silver walking stick or cane. Rare to fine Swedish canes in rosewood, they are more often than not Malacca. The silver is stamped with the Swedish national proof mark to confirm it's solid silver and the silver quality 830. Large crook handle with engraved decoration and the name and address. It reads:- Nils Hakansson, Pa 50 Arsdagen Auunaher 4/4/1929. It's common to see names and addresses on Swedish canes. Lovely bold crook shape to the silver top mounted on a nicely figured rosewood shaft. The ferrule is original and made of polished black buffalo horn. It measures 89 cm 35 inches in length, the handle protrudes 12.5 cm 5 inches.
