Description
Offered for sale is a wonderfully kitsch, woodland log, pixie planter by SylvaC. Glazed in typical Sylvac shades of beige and green it is modelled in the form of a log where, in a hollow, sits a little pixie hugging his knees. The name "SylvaC" seems to have been registered by Stoke on Trent potters Shaw & Copestake in 1938. The backstamp on this particular piece is that used in the 1940’s and 1950’s.
