Tea Cup, Saucer & Tea Plate Hand Painted Stamped 1946-1957 Dimitrov Porcelain Factory Verbilki (Div. of Kuznetsov After 1892)

This is a tea set trio: Tea cup, saucer and tea plate hand painted in orange and gold. Stamped for 1946-1957 Dimitrovsky Porcelain Factory Verbilki (Div. of Kuznetsov after 1891). This stamp/mark probably special for 50 years anniversary in 1967 (after 1917 year of revolution), the Factory actually worked and produced famous porcelain since 1766. Dmitrovsky Porcelain Factory is one of the largest centers of artistic decorative porcelain manufacturing in Russia. Located in the village of Verbilki, Moscow county, it was founded in 1766 by F. la. Gardner. Beginning in 1891 the factory was owned by M. S. Kuznetsov. The products of the Dmitrovsky Porcelain Factory have been displayed at more than 100 foreign exhibitions in 40 countries. Many articles created by its artists and craftsmen are in the factory museum and in other museums of the country and abroad. The Dmitrovsky Porcelain Factory was honored with the gold medal at the Paris World’s Fair in 1937 and with the silver medal at the Brussels World’s Fair in 1958. In honor of its 200th anniversary in 1966 the factory was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
