This fantastic antique ring consists of two snake heads which coil around the finger and meet at the centre. Each head bears a gemstone, one sapphire of 0.16ct and one Old European Cut diamond of 0.08ct. Each snake's body winds around the finger which meets as a double band, with an openwork design.
This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Chester for 18ct gold in 1903. There is some abrasion to the sapphire gemstone. This ring is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
