This fabulous snake ring features a stunning old European-cut diamond, weighing 0.32ct at its centre, within the head of the snake. The snake's scaly tail coils around the diamond, giving the piece movement and structure. There is an openwork design to the band, which joins at the very back of the shank.
This ring, circa the early 20th century, has a French Assay mark for 18ct, numbered 7095. It is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
