The Antique Ruby & Diamond Ring

This ring features a wide openwork head holding a beautiful ruby framed by one eight cut and one old Swiss cut diamond, for an approximate total of 0.06ct of diamonds. The ruby contains approximately 0.31ct. The shoulders feature grooved metalwork which leads into a plain band. This ring, circa 1900, and tests as 18ct. There is some abrasion to the table of the ruby. However, all stones remain well held with just light marks to the band commensurate with age.
