This fantastic handcrafted Greek-style cameo ring, circa 1850-1901, depicts a male head, facing to his left, carved into shell. Bordering this claw set cameo is a border of twenty baroque pears of a grey hue. The gallery is raised with solid sides, leading into bead-detailed split shoulders and a plain band.
This ring, circa the late Victorian era, has been electronically tested as 9ct gold. It is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
