The Nanking Cargo Salvage Cup & Saucer

The Nanking Cargo Salvage Cup and Saucer is a porcelain set created around 1752. This item is part of the Nanking Cargo collection, which was salvaged from a shipwreck. The cup and saucer feature traditional Chinese motifs and are characterised by their intricate designs and blue and white colour scheme. The craftsmanship reflects the style of the period, making it a notable example of 18th-century Chinese export porcelain. These items were sold by Christies famous Nanking Cargo sale in Amsterdam 1986, with their original Christies auction labels. Both pieces in excellent condition, with the expectation of the cup with show old glue to side (probably where Christies label was).
