Description
Genuine 13.5 inch vintage celestial globe, by world-famous specialist maker George Philip & Son of London. Ths one, their "Standard Terrestrial" model, from the 1940s.
Well-aged and patinated, this fabulous globe spins on its steel inclined mount and a turned walnut base, and comes with a unique feature, its original label for the Old Colonial Gentleman's "Caribbean Club Jamaica", (a possible former owner?)
