Timeless Dip Rail Brass & Iron King Size Bedstead

Sturdy classic Victorian dip rail king-size brass and black bed with very pleasing simple details in the decorative castings and naturally aged brass collars, knobs and rail. All solid and sturdy. The bed has been professionally restored with rails extended to support modern king size mattress 5' x 6'6" /150cm x 200cm They have been checked for good fit and adapted to support wood slats. Whole frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in lightly distressed Little Green paint company Jack Black and waxed to preserve. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" platform top or 4" platform top bases. Photograph taken with 2" base.
