A lovely Irish bed very nice shaping in the panels on the head and foot end. Nice Floral castings and ridged clamps connected by lovely reed strip ironwork. Very nicely proportioned. Hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Invisible Green, waxed to protect and give a soft sheen. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish. All joints checked for secure fit. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on 2” base with our Montpellier mattress.
