Description
Baby's washstand made for a child's nursery or for washing a new arrival, made in Sarreguemines in Eastern France at the turn of the turn of the century.
The washstand includes a china bowl decorated with 'Nursury Rhyme' characters characters set on a nicely crafted wooden base. It comes from the French pottery city of Sarreguemines in Alsace.
A rare and charming piece which would make a lovely present for the birth of a new baby!
