A striking drop-dial wall clock, striking on an outside bell.
The twin fusee movement has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee. Quite unusually the bell on which it strikes is situated at the top of the case externally. It strikes with a beautifully clean, resonating strike.
The mahogany case is beautifully polished with a rich, warm, and age related patina. It has a brass surround glazed ventricle to the lower half through which the pendulum can be seen operating. Also, brass stringing to the edges. It has inspection doors to either side of the case and a door to the underside.
The 12" white painted dial has black Roman numerals with black "birds beak" hands. It is surrounded with a cast brass bezel and convex glass.
A lovely and very sensibly priced clock.
