Two 19th Century Round Copper Plaques by Gustav Grohe

Two 19th Century Round Copper Plaques by Gustav Grohe 2 superb 3 dimensional copper plaques by German born bronze craftsman Gustav Grohe. These are a pair of plaques one with the bust of a woman against a patterned background and the other her Male counterpart, both characters are flamboyantly dressed. The plaques were originally made to be inset in a wall of a house or building Superb pieces in very good condition, the plaques are 8” in diameter and 2” thick. Ref: GY91
