Description
Two 18th Century silver spoons of Irish Provincial origins. Each spoon is in oar end pattern and one is a dessert spoon, the other a teaspoon. The dessert spoon has a faded crest, which appears to be a bird, the teaspoon has a crisp crest of a winged coronet. Each spoon bears only the mark 'Sterling', which indicates Cork or possibly Limerick as the Town of origin. Irish Provincial silver is widely collected and these would make a nice addition.
