Description
A stunning and rare sideboard dating to the 1960s, made in Sweden for Ulferts and designed by Lennart Bender.
This lovely mid 20th century piece has been owned by our neighbour since 1961, bought from Lee Longfords in the midlands when she was a young woman buying her first pieces of furniture for married life.
Made from solid afromosia and teak this piece is very well made with an iconic look which will suit a modern or vintage styled interior.
The sideboard has two doors which open to reveal two adjustable interior shelves set onto small shelf supports. To the right are four useful drawers, all finished with inset rosewood handles. The top drawer is lined in a suede like fabric and has a removable cutlery tray.
The wood has a waxed finish.
