Lovely ebony hard wood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane. Has a pommel made of a polished obsidian sphere. Typical of gentleman's dress canes of the 1900's as well as canes used by undertakers of the same periods and earlier when dressed in full black. The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1917 and makers mark for Ernest Lory of St Johns Street, London. Plain silver trumpet collar shaped for the pommel to into. The ferrule is original and made of brass and steel. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 93.3 cm 36 3/4 inches in length, the pommel is 4.5 cm 1 3/4 inches wide.

It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age. Some surface marks to the silver as shown but no holes or splits. The shaft is excellent and strong with no damage or repairs.
