Victorian 1884 Pocket Watch Chain 12ct Gold Plated Fancy Albert with T Bar

Victorian Gentleman's 12ct (professionally tested) gold plated large very fancy link Antique pocket watch chain/Albert (probably German) with original Patented T bar and swivel dog clip. C~Dated 1884. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 29.5cm / 11 1/2" total length and weighs a heavy 28.6 grams. Bright crisp highly polished round links (measure 8mm width) with fancy, engine turned wide roller links in between - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully. Secure swivel dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and large T bar to the other end (measures 4.5cm length) which is clearly stamped; Pat.Aug.23.84 (Patented 23rd August 1884). The large round link below the T bar is stamped to one side; Gesetslich Guarantie (quality guaranteed). Also has a short length of smaller round links below the T bar so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Good clean bright condition with no wear, little bit of marking to the ends of the T bar (looks like someone once tested it to see if solid gold) and just a few extremely tiny overall little surface scratches/ light patina (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
