Victorian 1890's Pocket Watch Chain 12ct Rose Rolled Gold Albert With T Bar

Victorian Gentleman's large, heavy and highly impressive 12ct (professionally tested) rose rolled gold (has a lovely soft pink hue and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), traditional chunky graduated curb link Antique (German) pocket watch chain / double Albert with original big stamped swivel T bar, original stamped dog clip and bolt ring. C~1890's. (Very rare now days to find one complete with all its original fittings). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 39.5cm / 15 1/4"" total length and weighs a heavy 34.1 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional graduated curb links (measure 7mm to centre and taper down each length of the chains to 4mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. The two large central links are stamped to one side with the makers initials; S.P (Friedrich Speidel, Pforzheim, Germany. Est; 1868 - 1937) and each end of the chains near to the T bar are finished off with a little oval shaped link. Robust and well made original secure dog clip to one end (operates correctly) which is again stamped (within a slightly recessed oblong shaped cartouche); S.P and little bolt ring to the other end (again works correctly) which was specifically made to carry a vesta case or similar. Original big swivel T bar to centre (measures 3.6cm length) which is stamped to one side; S.P 12ct Rolled Gold S.P. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original oval link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no damage and just a tiny (micro) bit of light overall wear/ patina and fine surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
