Victorian 1890s Pocket Watch Chain Shield Fob Large Brass Ornate Fob

Victorian Gentleman's large and highly ornate Antique pocket watch chain solid brass shield fob. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.3cm height (including the top ring), 2.4cm width and weighs a heavy 9.1 grams. Attractive shield shaped fob which is beautifully decorated to the front with slightly raised acanthus leaves and scroll work, featuring a raised fancy un-engraved shield cartouche to centre (slightly offset) and a fancy un-engraved 'banner' cartouche to top. The back is smooth, highly polished and again free from any inscriptions or initials. Original large brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage and just a tiny (micro) bit of overall wear/patina and light little surface scratches (mainly to back) commensurate with age.
