Victorian Aesthetic Movement Walnut Desk

A good quality antique Victorian Aesthetic movement writing table or desk dating from circa 1895. In a well-figured walnut it features an oversailing top with red faux-leather writing surface, above two drawers with original brass drop handles and it stands on elegant turned legs united by turned stretchers. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too large.
