Victorian Antique Large Silver and Citrine Plaid Brooch, Edinburgh 1900

A beautiful antique Victorian silver and citrine large plaid brooch. Made in Edinburgh in 1900 by MacDougalls and retailed by them in their London shop. The brooch has four engraved bosses and intricate carvings of mythical celtic beasts above beautiful celtic knotwork. There is a crisp set of hallmarks on the back with a long pin in a "C" clasp.
