Victorian Antique Silver "Peekaboo" Picture Frame - London 1886

A very rare and unusual antique Victorian silver picture frame with shutters. Made in London in 1886 by Rosenthal Jacobs and co. The silver front has cherubs on each corner and a vacant cartouch. The aperture measures 8cm x 5cm and has two hinged covers with a cast family crest and a glass interior. The back is velvet covered and overall it is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
